JOB DESCRIPTION

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is looking for an eCommerce Manager, Australia for the Williams -Sonoma brand! This person will manage the brand website and digital marketing to meet revenue and conversion goals. This person will also be responsible for site operations, long and short-term strategy, planning and implementation.

* Own the online brand experience and partners with cross-functional teams to execute brand strategy and achieve financial goals;
* Develop website merchandise strategies to achieve sales and gross margin goals with Global Merchants;
* Provide daily, weekly, monthly eCommerce reporting;
* Foster collaborative relationships with other team members, corporate partners in the US and Singapore as well as other merchants and partners around the world;
* Own the email marketing strategy, coordinator eDM creative development, coding and deployment;
* Partner with IT to ensure optimal site performance, develop new initiatives and drive online excellence;
* Drive strategic change by identifying potential business opportunities relating to eCommerce;
* Promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity, and learning by sharing best; practices and building on the ideas of others within the country, across brands and from the US;
* Collaborate with creative teams on site design layouts, images and content;
* Partner with eMarketing team to optimize sales and profitability of affiliate search and other partner channels;
* Partner with Brand Marketing and Social Media team to identify, develop and execute initiatives to drive brand awareness, acquisition and positive customer sentiment;
* Be an advocate for the Australian marketing, demonstrating a local understanding by localizing and interpreting our brand strategies for optimal performance in the Australian market.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because you have...

* Bachelors Degree in Commerce or a related field preferred
* 5 years experience working in eCommerce, in a complex, matrix structure organization
* Previous experience working for a lifestyle retail brand
* Demonstrated experience managing EDM programs
* Extensive web analytics skills, with demonstrated proficiency in Google Analytics
* Strong business acumen and financial proficiency as well as analytical and business planning skills
* Proven ability to interface with business as well as technical teams
* Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with global teams harmoniously in a fast-paced business environment
* Strong project management skills
* Ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical execution level
* Excellent communication skills -- verbal and written
