We are seeking an experienced, analytical and detail-oriented Sr. Manager, Wholesale to work closely with the SVP of Retail Operations, Sr. Manager of Business Development, and cross-functional teams for the Williams Sonoma Brand. This candidate will assist the SVP and Sr. Manager to successfully execute and manage new business initiatives in a fast-paced, creative environment with a broad scope of valuable internal and external partners.

As part of the Strategy & Business Development team, this individual will create a deep organizational understanding of market and competitive trends, successfully drive individual and team projects, and develop analysis of key capability-building initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a business and technical background that enables them to drive engagements, communicate to management as well as C-Level executives.


* Manage an existing business
* Responsible for leading the process of new customer onboarding
* Manage current accounts
* Develop and perform strategies to extend brand awareness and drive revenue across all wholesale channels
* Communicate Marketing campaigns and activity to all relevant partners and create a feedback loop for continuous improvement
* Function as the primary point of contact for inquiries from wholesale customers
* Deliver timely feedback to senior management regarding sales performance and growth opportunities
* Manage expenses to meet department budget
* Conduct research, collect, and analyze data to prepare customized project analysis
* Prepare on-going and adhoc materials and business reports for meetings (including agendas, research, slides, and reports), coordinating inputs from Business Analytics, FP&A and other various key stakeholders
* Complete business and retail analysis, including financial reviews, forecasting and modeling to provide input on potential business strategies
* Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners
* Engage external business and industry experts to learn and influence business strategies
* Become an expert on our brands, our partners, our competitors, and our strategy
* Other tasks as assigned


* 4+ years - or 3+ years with an MBA - of experience in finance, consulting, business operations, inventory management or similar business manager/ chief of staff role
* Wholesale experience and knowledge of the food industry preferred; prior retail experience a must
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Analytical, structured thinking -- quickly understand the task at hand and synthesize the main considerations
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills -- ability to translate high-level guidance and thoughts into coherent outlines, drafts, or speaking points
* Sound judgment and track record of success in driving strategic initiatives
* Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
