About the Team

The Signage Coordinator position reports to the Signage Manager and is part of the Visual Merchandising team for Williams Sonoma and Williams Sonoma Home. We are a fun team of visual merchandisers, graphic designers, production artists and project managers who love to work together to make the stores shine! Our job is to work together to align visual floorsets with printed marketing. In doing so, we love to laugh together and share creative wisdom!

About the Role

In the Signage Coordinator role, you will be responsible for producing all in-store signage for the Williams Sonoma and Williams Sonoma Home brands. You will work cross functionally with visual merchandising partners, graphic designers, and merchants to produce and order all signage for the stores. You will work with the Signage Manager to manage timelines and schedule signage proofing with merchant teams. In this role, you will develop file organization, typography, eye for detail, time management and project scheduling skills.

* Work in templates to produce feature, perimeter, outlet, and markdown/promotional signage
* Update signage weekly, monthly and seasonally to coordinate with relevant holidays
* Fulfill any special sign requests and price changes as needed for all stores
* Produce new templates for store signage as needed based on creative standards
* Schedule proofing phases with project manager and merchant teams
* Coordinate and send files to print vendors for delivery to stores
* Maintain signage filing systems

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because...

* You have a Bachelor's degree (preferred not required) or equivalent work experience
* You have 1-2 years experience of producing printed materials
* You have an eye for typography
* You have time management and excellent organizational skills in an extremely fast-paced, high-volume environment
* You have strong verbal and written communication skills
* You have outstanding attention to detail

Technical Competencies required:

* You are extremely proficient on Mac OSX with Adobe InDesign. Photoshop and Excel are a plus.
* You understand typography
