JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Team

The Cookware Merchandising department is responsible for the development, sourcing and selection of products sold in our distinct retail concepts and through our catalog. Merchandising responsibilities vary by category and may include developing new products, designing packaging, tracking production of goods and determining retail price points.

About the Role

In the Merch Coordinator role, you will provide support and coordination for the Buyer of the Cookware team. This includes samples coordination, managing the assortment sheet, entering markdowns, proofing the catalog, website and email marketing, pulling sales reports for vendor meetings, help prepare for visual floorsets, and managing product testing days.

* Help drive the Cookware business by executing promos, tracking samples and monitoring new product launches.
* Communicate as needed with agents and vendors on behalf of buying team in regard to project and sample status, costing/ sku worksheets, and packaging/ labeling needs.
* Enter and maintain all price changes for DTC (Direct to Customer) and Retail, working closely with inventory partners.
* Set up and maintenance of all skus.
* Track and open packages and samples; coordinate movement of merchandise to sample rooms.
* Attend team meetings with merchandising and inventory.
* Prepare analysis as directed.
* General administrative duties.
* Assist in monthly retail floor sets.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* You love for cooking and baking (preparation, presentation, and food handling knowledge)
* You have 1-2 years of customer service, retail, or corporate admin
* You have a BA/BS desired (not required)
* A passion for retail and merchandising
* Excel skills (pivot tables and v-lookups a plus)
* A high attention to detail
* A strong work ethic and self-motivation
* Ability to work in a fast paced, often-changing environment

Technical Competencies required:

* Excel (intermediate to advanced)
* MS Office working experience
* Phone and Email experience
