You will be part of the WS HOME Product Development team responsible for designing furniture & lighting. We are a very hardworking team of designers, not afraid to roll up our sleeves and get dirty. We are a close-knit team, working together very collaboratively to get projects done. Most importantly though is that we are a very passionate group of people who love design and thrive when we see inspiring ideas come to life as real products. About the Role

1) PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Coordination

* Creating trackers
* Posting comments
* Tracking developments, status updates and sample ready dates
* Maintaining each line item with ETAs and approvals
* Getting ERFs approved
* Providing approved ERFS to WSGO teams/vendors

2) Final Line Review & Presentation Prep

* Ordering samples from warehouse
* Scheduling JTI
* Managing JTI through the setup (placing items, walls, etc.)

3) Sample Management

* Managing samples incoming & outgoing to/from office
* Daily maintenance of samples in the garage, workspaces & presentation spaces.
* Ordering samples from warehouse as needed basis
* Managing receipt of the samples and advising PD team
* Having the samples unwrapped
* Requesting for Sample ID stickers & transfer form
* Overseeing sample wrapping
* Tagging all outgoing samples
* Organizing transportations
* Returning samples to warehouse

4) Product Visuals:

* Creating visual boards and concept & development visuals (+ plotting, mounting, assembly)
* Helping with seasonal design direction (looking for & scanning inspirational tears)

5) Assist PD Callouts & put together sample reports

6) PD Weekly Meeting Prep

* PD Agenda -- coordinate agenda items with cross-functional teams.
* Provide weekly PD recaps
* Maintain development status spreadsheet & provide at weekly PD meeting.

7) Material Library: Maintain and organize finish panels, fabric & leather swatches, etc.
