About the Role

The Williams Sonoma Website Merchandising team is seeking a Merch Analyst to manage and create seasonal merchandise databases for the Williams Sonoma website and catalog. In this role, you will coordinate and facilitate processes and the flow of information, both internally and externally. * Interface with merchandising teams to ensure site data integrity and correct product set-up.
* Compile and input data to maintain seasonal product information databases.
* Work closely with Website merchandising team to ensure correct site layout.
* Work closely with creative team to assist in creation and maintenance of creative product databases.
* Manage database uploads to QA testing environments.
* Assist in the execution of seasonal plans for the channel.
* Coordinate and participate in weekly site testing in order to ensure correct data integrity.
* Other projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because you have the following qualifications...

* 1-2 years of eCommerce, retail or catalog experience
* Strong computer skills, including advanced excel skills, and word processing applications, must have an interest in the linkage from systems to the Web
* Well-organized, detail -oriented
* Able to make timely decisions, anticipate problems and provide creative solutions
* Retail experience and basic business knowledge a strong plus
* Action-oriented and full of energy for challenges
* Able to handle ambiguity and adapt to an ever-changing environment
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (v-lookups)
