JOB DESCRIPTION

This position provides staffing, recruiting and administrative support to the HR team and Williams Sonoma Stores; Accountable for accurate processing and reporting of HR information and records; Promote the credibility and effectiveness of the HR team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Handle all job postings, interview schedules, and offer/promotion letters.
* Produce staffing reports.
* Manage the Job Requisition process, including fielding resumes, tracking in system and communicating with Recruiters/Hiring Managers.
* Conduct initial phone screenings with candidates.
* Handle travel arrangements for external candidates.
* Maintains confidential files for the department
* Conduct reference checks on final candidates.
* Coordinate background screenings for final candidates
* Create, maintain and analyze reports for turnover, time to fill, and onboarding and training programs; Conduct best practices research and analysis of current practices
* Manage all aspects of resume tracking, including scanning, acknowledgment and database updates.
* Assemble recruitment packets.
* Assist General Managers with recruiting efforts in their market.
* Assist stores with job postings and social media recruiting.
* Coordinate College Recruiting Events and Trips
* Partner with marketing and creative to produce collateral for stores on recruitment
* Interact with hiring managers, WSI associates, external applicants and vendors
* Work with Field HR Team and Store Management to develop best practices for store recruitment
* Special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma
* Experience in a recruiting or administrative HR role
* Strong organizational skills including the ability to work independently and to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to manage confidential information with the utmost discretion
* The tact and diplomacy required to work with a variety of people (associates, executives, job candidates) in situations that may be stressful and/or involve personal circumstances
* Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms including the ability to explain HR processes, policies and benefits
* Project management skills required to participate in or lead projects * Ability to build and maintain productive and influential relationships required to be successful in a high-speed, cross-functional environment
* Capability to utilize technology tools including document preparation, spreadsheet development and maintenance, internet research, and WSI HR applications.
