About the Role:
Inventory Planners are a critical part of the Product Pipeline cross-functional team, responsible for forecasting future demand of our product assortment and optimizing incoming supply against that demand. This is a highly strategic and analytic role as we are always striving to opportunities to maximize the business from both a supply and demand side. Forecasting and supply management is done both at a SKU and tops-down level and is facilitated by our in-house planning systems.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
*Manage and maintain department merchandise financial forecast (OTB/rolling forecast). Take timely action to maximize sales, profitability and inventory productivity.
*Plan sales and forecast appropriate inventory levels by SKU.
*Project & plan a full sales and inventory rollup for future seasons.
*Analyze product performance and drive recommendations on future assortments.
*Recommend exit strategies for non-productive inventory
*Participate as an integral partner with U.S counterparts, merchandising, sourcing and the distribution centres.
*Build a team relationship within the team & across functions
*Must be able to clearly and concisely present analytical data and propose solutions in an organized manner to groups.
*Participate in the development and implementation of new planning systems.


*2-5 years' experience in a role with analytical/strategic responsibilities -- Retail industry experience a plus.
*Strong technical and analytical skills.
*Proficiency in Excel a must.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
*Ability to communicate effectively.
