About the Role

We at WSI Tech believe in building culture that is focused on outcome vs output and where we excel through experts leading other experts. This is a critical role with the responsibility of leading the software development for our Supply Chain systems and operations. The VP of Supply Chain Technology leads the architecture and engineering efforts that drive WSI's order management and supply chain activities. This is a key role in the success of the organization.

We are looking for a leader who will make it a mission to be a customer champion and also extend that mission to all of his/her teams by focusing on all aspects of the software delivery lifecycle. This role will partner very closely with the Product team and Supply Chain Operations teams on delivering frictionless and delightful customer experiences, and exploring opportunities to innovate in the Supply Chain area.

* Demonstrate a high level of accountability with a hands-on approach to coaching and leading software delivery teams within Supply Chain technology

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* An ideal candidate should have technology design, delivery and production support expertise in the Supply Chain area for large scale Omni-channel technology teams, including experience with the following technologies: IBM Order Management (Sterling OMS), Customer Care technologies, Integration methodologies, Dev Ops, Logistics applications (WMS, TMS, Shipping Optimization, etc...)
* 15+ years of total technology experience with focus on architecture, delivery, QE, planning and support with increasing responsibilities and scope.
* 5+ years Director and above level experience in similar functions for a sizable organization and relevant scale and complexity.
* A deep understanding of the Retail industry and how to apply technology to solve real retail problems, ideally with expertise in the Home Furnishings vertical
* Proven track record to partner with multiple stakeholders and partners to build an innovative and collaborative engineering portfolio.
* Technical chops to understand the architecture, systems, problems, identify patterns, suggest solutions and make right decisions.
* Experience to build, evolve and coach large teams.
* Ability to prioritize, help making fast decisions and focus on delivering them.
* Coach and mentor teams for continuous improvements.
* Curiosity to learn quickly and scale it to others.
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
* You are an agile and hands on leader who is passionate about helping transform companies by turning technology to its fully advantage.
