JOB DESCRIPTION

The Williams-Sonoma Supply Chain Engineering organization is seeking an energetic and talented Order Management - UI Developer to deliver high value, high-quality business capabilities to our Supply Chain technology platform. At Williams-Sonoma, we are implementing a range of best of breed technology in our supply chain in support of our 6 amazing brands -- Williams-Sonoma, West Elm, Mark and Graham, and the Pottery Barn family. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications & experience:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
* 3 to 5 years of hands-on full cycle Web Development/UI/Front-end development experience to design and development of high-volume, high-performance, high-availability applications
* Experience with Agile practices
* Designing and developing user interface solutions for websites and web applications.
* Extensive knowledge of web technologies and building large-scale web applications.
* Expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS
* Expertise in HTML5, CSS3
* Web Components JS
* HTML Polyfills -- writing custom components
* Familiarity with Angular / React / BackboneJS
* Event pub/sub model
* Aysnc awaits & yields
* Performance Optimizations
* ES5, ES6 features.
* Webpack
* Expertise with Bootstrap or other responsive design techniques
* Expertise with cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web.
* Experience in working with Agile Methodology.
* Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
* Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have skills:

* Work experience in other JavaScript frameworks like React JS, Node JS
* Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jasmine, Protractor, and tools like Karma
