Position Summary

Manage technical implementation of Oracle Fusion cloud ERP, HCM and Vertex Tax management system (integrations, conversions, rollout, support transition, operational readiness)

Essential Functions:

* Provide project and resource development plans and management
* Identify technical solutions, related cost and resource requirements
* Provide technical leadership and direction to the team of internal and contract developers in an Enterprise Production Support environment
* Set, report, and attain service level, business, and productivity metrics
* Participate in financial management and reporting activities including budget development, quarterly forecasting, and monthly variance reporting
* Participate in project proposals
* Participate and provide leadership in package software selection and vendor negotiations
* Manage projects and support activities to aggressive time and dollar constraints
* Work closely and effectively with internal business partners, external consultants, and other IT managers and staff to ensure productive and adaptable working relationships
* Facilitate management initiatives, process improvements, career and staff development, and strategic planning within IT to support aggressive business growth
* Be responsible for detailed tracking of project budgets and forecast
* Collaborate with business and IT teams to define business and technical requirements.
* Collaborate with IT teams to define/select solutions and determines the impact of current/existing technologies.
* Evaluate alternative operational efficiencies /business process change.
* A technologically and data-driven approach to the
* Plan and execute solution delivery for complex ERP like implementations for Finance, HR and VERTEX
* Ensure the project team prepares the solution for turnover to production support
* Coach, mentor, and train as appropriate



* 10 years progressively responsible experience in Information Technology, including a minimum of 5 years of complex project management and people supervision/ management
* PMI certified, or equivalent experience preferred
* Experience leading multi-year business processes and systems transformation programs
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Strong knowledge of and experience with all phases of systems development life cycle for large systems, including strategy development
* Strong team building, staff development, change management, and leadership skills
* Demonstrated success in working effectively with defined business partners, vendors, and consultant resources to support large production support environments
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills
* Working effectively in a complex and fast-changing enterprise
* A smart, experienced leadership team that wants to do it right and is open to new ideas.
* Experience working in Agile practices and methodologies
