Williams-Sonoma Inc is expanding globally. Success in both online and offline retail channels is critical to expanding our 6 iconic brands in new markets. After launching in the Middle East, the Philippines, Mexico, Australia and the UK, we're looking to build on that success. We call ourselves a startup in a big company and are looking for a Marketing Analyst who is eager to be part of the team!

The Marketing Analyst is part of the Global Ecommerce and Marketing team, the team responsible for developing and delivering marketing strategies that drive profitable growth in sales and customers for each of our WSI brands overseas and supports the development and execution of programs with our Franchise partners. This role will report to the Manager of Global Marketing.

Within this context the Analyst performs these essential functions:

* Work with the global marketing team, brand marketing teams and Franchise partners to develop plans and track marketing calendars and budgets.
* Coordinate with brand resources to develop seasonal marketing packages to provide to franchise partners. Communicate with franchise partners about key marketing initiatives and messaging.
* Manage collaboration tool to share best practices, calendars, plans, assets and communication with franchise partners.
* Working with the Global Marketing manager to execute marketing programs that drive sales and customer growth in partnership with country teams, including core e-marketing programs, New Mover campaigns, package insert programs, direct marketing and others. Work with third party vendors (i.e. printers) as needed.
* Analyze and report on e-marketing programs, direct mail campaign performance, test results and customer metrics. Maintain result histories. Make recommendations based on findings.
* Update weekly sales and marketing reports, providing highlights of prior week's performance.
* Maintain key documents including production schedule, team calendar, print summary, etc.
* Interact with peers on other WSI brands as well as cross-functional partners to share best practices, generate new ideas and seek continual process improvement.
* Help prepare monthly presentations of marketing results. Provide ad-hoc reports upon request.
* Manage marketing expenses: Verify, process and track invoices, maintain history, reconcile versus budget, communicate variances.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree
* 2-3 years Marketing experience
* Retail industry experience a plus
* Core competencies:

* Strong attention to detail and quality control

* Excellent written and oral communications

* Extensive Excel experience; statistical software a plus
