At Williams- Sonoma, we are a team of passionate SEOs operating at a fast pace with a clear direction, targeting channel excellence along with business targets. The SEO team operates as an internal agency consulting and working on multiple e-commerce sites, cross-brand, cross-channel to define, strategize and test SEO for driving continual growth focusing on the outcome.

About the Role

We are looking for a SEO Analyst to take a role in the implementation, and day to day management of new and existing strategies to drive growth and maximize return for SEO across all Pottery Barn Brands and International eCommerce sites. Lead the development of near and long-term SEO strategies related to keyword matrix development, site architecture optimizations, content management, and other strategies to maximize indexing, rank, traffic, and sales. Heavy focus on collaboration with brand eCommerce partners, Technology teams, and external vendors to implement strategies.

What you will do...

* Work with the SEO strategists to develop and execute SEO strategies that include keyword research, on-page optimization, targeting, content analysis, technical improvement, and customer engagement
* Work with brand eCommerce teams to strategize, develop, and implement site and content improvements
* Work with Technology partners -- including product managers, engineers, designers, and UX -- to implement SEO-driven technology initiatives, as well as reviewing and approving non-SEO initiatives
* Research and develop eCommerce and editorial content to target queries across multiple parts of the purchase funnel
* Identify areas of opportunity for improved on-site use of HTML/JavaScript for SEO benefit
* Work closely with IT and Brand partners to ensure SEO projects are prioritized based on ROI
* Collaborate and influence brand partners on an SEO content strategy utilizing top keywords based on seasonality and relevant search intent
* Maintain a reporting dashboard that goes beyond traffic/revenue/keywords, and includes user engagement metrics like time on page, conversion, and click path
* Develop and maintain on-page optimizations -- including title tags, meta descripts, and header tags -- as necessary based on page content and targeted keywords
* Manage strategy of keyword research using third-party tools to select target keywords based on relevance, search volume and business priority
* Manage numerous outside vendors that support SEO strategy and drive growth

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

What you will have...

* 2+ years minimum experience with SEO & eCommerce sites
* Background and experience with HTML & JavaScript
* Strong familiarity with Google and other third-party keyword research and SEO tools
* Experience with a web analytics system
* Strong analytical ability and expertise in Excel
* Ability to deal with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
* Well-organized, high attention to detail, deadline-oriented
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Enjoys working with others as part of a team
