You will be part of the User Experience team creating great experiences across our retail websites. We strive to make our customer experiences intuitive, usable, and engaging in a highly collaborative environment where we value the voice of our customers.

About the Role

In the Principal User Experience Designer role, you will be responsible for defining the vision and leading the user experience across our brands. Your designs will impact millions of our customers daily.

* Lead the user experience direction of our retail websites
* Create customer centric design solutions through wireframes, prototyping, screen flows, and journey maps
* Work closely with our research group to synthesize customer feedback, customer research and analytics into actionable results
* Draw on your deep knowledge of design principles and human behavior to explain your design rationale
* Collaborate with product managers, visual designers, developers, researchers, our brands, and executives
* Provide strategic user experience direction and recommend site improvements to help meet our business goals
* Advocate and share user experience best practices across the organization

* You have 10+ years of experience in user experience design with a proven track record
* You are an empathic and a curious designer who likes to use a combination of data and creativity to drive your solutions
* You have strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain rapport with teammates and stakeholders from multiple business groups
* You are self-motivated and have a can-do attitude
* You have experience with user research
* Retail e-commerce experience a plus
* B.S./B.A. or higher in User Experience Design, Information Design, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or related fields

Technical Competencies required:

Experience with tools like Sketch, Visio, OmniGraffle, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, and Axure
