About the Team
Within WSI Tech, we strive for a culture of "experts leading experts". The Vendor Management Office (VMO) is critical pillar of the Technology Finance org, and we are looking for a strong, hands-on manager to lead our contracts and vendor management functions.
About the Role
In the Manager, VMO role, you will lead a team of experienced contracts specialists and manage vendor partners and performance, including; contracts management and compliance, relationship management, vendor acquisition and assessment, and vendor performance and risk management. This position is instrumental to the execution of our strategic vendor management and delivery strategy.

* Provide leadership and help set the mission and vision of the VMO in alignment with the strategic and operational objectives of the technology organization and the business
* Partner with operational teams to lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance of negotiated agreements to policies and practices
* Manage, build and effectively leverage vendor relationships. Partner with vendor relationship managers to assist in escalations, facilitate issue resolution, optimize vendor performance and drive cost savings.
* Establish and optimize best practices, including processes, tools, templates and systems for use in vendor management, from vendor evaluation thru selection, contracting, negotiations, vendor services implementation and ongoing performance monitoring and management
* Drive operational excellence through effective utilization of appropriate negotiation and vendor assessment tools (RFP, RFI, vendor score cards, reporting, etc.).
* Serve as first point of contact to internal business partners to answer contract-related inquiries and escalate as appropriate
* Evaluate the viability of new vendors, track the health of key vendors and effectively communicate risk to key stakeholders.
* Review, draft, redline, and negotiate a variety of technology-related agreements, including MSA's, SOW's, POC's, NDAs, order forms, amendments, etc. Tight coordination with Legal, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Tech management and vendors required.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* You have a bachelor's degree in Business or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered)
* You have deep, relevant experience in negotiating SaaS, software, hardware, maintenance and service contracts
* You are a resourceful self-starter with excellent problem-solving capabilities, judgment, negotiation skills, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
* You have a proven ability to meet the needs of a fast-paced technology company, managing high-volume workloads, multiple stakeholder demands and ever-shifting priorities all while instilling confidence in your team and business partners
* You demonstrate strong attention to detail and are highly organized
