About the Team

You will be part of the in-house Paid Search Team directly managing SEM (Search Engine Management), Product Listing Ad, and Pinterest account strategies and executing day to day tactics to increase revenue, site traffic, and conversion and maximize return on ad spend across one or more of Williams-Sonoma, Inc.'s (WSI) portfolio of Brands.

About the Role

You will collaborate with Director of SEM to lead the Paid Search Team. The person in this role will manage the strategy and execution of all Williams-Sonoma, Inc.'s (WSI) portfolio of Paid Search, Shopping, and Pinterest campaigns, and will be responsible for guiding the optimization to meet specified performance objectives and maximizing ROI while ensuring monthly/ weekly spend forecasts are met. There is a heavy focus on operations, vendor/tool management, budget management including revenue, spend, and traffic forecasts, and analysis of data and communication of trends/insights. You'll work closely with the bid management software provider and search engines to ensure WSI stays at the forefront of testing and optimization, and oversee the performance and career development of 2-3 Analysts, SEM. This position reports to the Director of SEM.

* Take a leadership role in the planning, management, and execution of all WSI SEM /PPC, Shopping, and Pinterest campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, development and implementation of strategies, campaign structure, budget management, daily bidding, and invoice management
* Lead team to achieve targeted performance KPIs (ad cost, revenue, sales, traffic, conversion) and provide assistance including optimizations and campaign troubleshooting
* Closely manage project plans, new build launch dates, and delivery timelines to ensure each team member is delivering on schedule and supporting the Brands' seasonal drops and initiatives
* Ensure weekly and monthly paid search performance reports are delivered to Marketing and Brand partners accurately and on time
* Support Marketing team with ad hoc analysis and reporting
* Maintain a close relationship with search engines and social platform to optimize performance and stay educated on new opportunities
* Manage relationship with bid management software provider and other partners to optimize campaigns and help inform their product roadmap based on WSI needs, including rolling out new enhancements to support WSI initiatives
* Develop strategy and work with team to implement tests/ participate in betas, report out on results and develop recommendations for roll-out
* Act as subject matter expert in SEM and Shopping industry trends and best practices and educate relevant WSI teams
* Collaborate with Customer Analytics on advanced analyses
* Manage work and career development of the Paid Search Operations Analysts, providing direction and feedback

We're excited about you because you have...

* 4-5 years minimum experience in online marketing with a focus on SEM campaign management, or equivalent experience
* SEM/PLA bid management platform experience required
* Google AdWords professional (GAP) and other SEM platforms certified
* Strong MS Excel skills
* Strong technical ability with proven experience managing search campaigns and keyword-related analytics to drive insights
* Confidence with analyzing large data sets and making recommendations and developing and executing strategies from findings to all levels of management, working with Director/VP
* Well-organized, high attention to detail, deadline-oriented
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to synthesize technical detail and communicate across the organization
* Knowledge of a site analytics tool a plus
* Enjoys working with others as part of a team
* Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
