About the Team

You will be part of the Marketing Data Science team responsible for optimizing our marketing investment and personalization experiences.

About the Role

As the Manager of Data Science, you will lead the strategy and management of our multi-touch attribution platform to measure incrementality and inform our Test & Learn agenda. In addition, you will be responsible for the creation of targeting and personalization assets to deliver the right content at the right time through the right channel. You will work with the CRM, Digital, Loyalty and Tech teams to test these assets, assess the value, implement and iterate to drive more value. We have a multi-dimensional customer data landscape that you will leverage to provide analytics support for strategic marketing projects.

* Work with our multi-touch attribution modeling vendor to ensure alignment on modeling methodologies, model validation metrics and actionable insights.
* Build product category level multi-touch attribution models, segmentation models and MMM models in-house
* Analyze, gain insights and create personalization assets from consumer conversion paths and journeys
* Collaborate with marketing, brand and IT stakeholders in upstream ideation and inception of marketing programs; participate in and offer insights on data availability, performance measurability and analytic opportunities

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because you have...

* Masters/Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Analytics or other quantitative field.
* 2+ years MTA/MMM modeling experience
* 3-4 years of statistical modeling experience
* 6-8 years of business-based analytics, part of which includes hands-on data analysis experience with SAS, SQL or other similar analytic programming languages.
* 1-2 years of people manager experience a plus
* Project management experience in advanced analytics or complex data Mining, machine learning, or predictive modeling desired
* Advanced knowledge of statistical/ query programming languages such as SQL, SAS, R, Python, Hive, Spark, Java, Perl
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in collaborative environment and develop analytic solutions and present findings to internal stakeholders (executive level) in the organization.
* Excellent analytic and critical thinking, combined with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with multi-channel retail consumer data such as POS and clickstream data
