JOB DESCRIPTION

Williams Sonoma is looking for a seasoned, experienced IT Program Delivery Management professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures to deliver complex, large-scale enterprise application/solutions within a retail environment.

Accountabilities:

* Provides overall program delivery leadership, guidance, and manages requirements and scope of the programs.
* Works cross-functionally with multiple business units, including Product Management, Development, Compliance, Vendor management, Release management, and Finance to implement new company and process improvement initiatives.

* Uses judgment & collaboration to ensure and support Requirements analysis, long-term roadmap definition, solutions selection and implementation
* Acts as a key liaison between the product management, engineering and release management to ensure alignment of business objectives with technology priorities

* Collaborates with QA and Release team to define a plan for, and manage work relating to, integration, regression, and User Acceptance testing, Release management, and deployment in support of delivery teams.
* Manages project delivery activities and communications across all project teams (Communication vehicles include team meetings, meeting minutes, e-mails, key documents, etc.)

* Develops and manages program operating costs, requests budget allocation and reallocations, ensures the program is within the approved budget

* Collects and assesses estimates from all partners -- IT, business, vendors, Change Management, etc., and incorporates into the capability team budget/forecast.
* Assists in the identification and remediation of risks to delivery scope, quality timeline, budget especially within and across capability teams.
* Utilizes experience and knowledge to coach teams through organizational change. Monitors resources to ensure they are properly trained in tools and process.
* Assists with communication with 3rd parties, contract/SOW management, etc.
* Ensures all audit and compliance requirements and controls are met.
* Assists Product Management with the definition and management of Technology Portfolio details.

* Responsible for financial management of multiple capability areas.
* Develops resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects and for the day-to-day operational activities; conducts performance reviews, provides input to pay decisions, and implements positive discipline measures when necessary

* Provides program reporting and status to senior management

* Supports executive decision making, reports program and implementation status. Develops stakeholder partnerships
* Helps develop, implement, and manage process blueprints, policy, workflows, and data flows
* Establishes delivery standards, key measures, and metrics
* Uses judgment & collaboration to ensure and support Integration and alignment with other processes and solutions
* Organizational change management, defines roles and responsibilities, communications, compliance, solutions adoption and training
* Other duties as assigned

* Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for defining and executing solutions
* Communicates effectively and proactively
* Has accurately provided detailed tracking of large, complex project budgets and forecast
* Has performed accurate variance analysis (including schedule, costs vs. budgets, resources and changes to scope)
* Has performed project risk assessment quantification, response planning, and control.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 8+ years' experience in managing multiple, simultaneous enterprise application delivery projects in a retail environment
* Proven ability creating delivery plans, resources plans, managing budgets/forecasts, tracking projects, identifying and mitigating risks and issues
* Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills
* Skilled in business process analysis/design, with experience in the retail industry and Supply Chain
* Customer focused
* Capable of making quick, thoughtful, reliable decisions
* Excellent planning & organization skills
* Capable of coaching/mentoring and conflict management/negotiation
* Has relevant knowledge base in core industry (eg. Retail/Supply Chain, etc.)
* Has a working knowledge of MS Project, MS Visio, MSWord, MS Excel, CA Clarity
