About the Team

You will be part of the Business Sales (Trade & Contract) team responsible for delivering significant sales growth in the B2B channel. Leveraging both personal and professional contacts in the hospitality, builder/ developer, commercial office and related industries, our team presents to and secures large volume incremental sales. We identify and prospect daily, bringing new clients to WSI, while being Brand Ambassadors across all the WSI brands.

About the Role

As a Trade Sales Support Associate, you will support key processes and functions essential to the Business Sales Division, delivering highly personalized customer service to our national Trade & Contract customers and Regional Account Executives. You will answer general product & order status inquiries, resolve issues, fulfill requests, enter quotes & sales orders, and maintain accurate records within Salesforce.

* Provide phone and email support for incoming Trade inquiries, providing prompt, courteous, and professional service.
* Process Trade orders to be released for production and shipping.
* Process transactions and other operational procedures accurately and efficiently within Salesforce.
* Provide sales support to Trade & Contract Account Executives by generating quotes, assisting in the processing of sales, and fielding questions.
* Identify customer needs. Assist customers with product selection by providing appropriate product choices, related items, and additional information as needed.
* Complete customer order entry efficiently and accurately. Analyze and communicate product estimate ship dates. Provide customers with appropriate product care and other service information.
* Provide customers with follow up service including order status updates, changed orders, damaged and displaced orders. Provide exceptional level of service by responding to concerns and questions in a timely and accurate manner.
* Represent Williams-Sonoma Inc with integrity in all interactions, offering exceptional levels of service at all times.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

* A minimum of 3 years prior experience in sales or customer service.
* Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM system (highly preferred).
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong multi-tasking skills, able to work with multiple screens & systems simultaneously.
* High level of reading comprehension, typing speed and accuracy.
* Ability to interpret & comprehend various technical documents.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external customers/clients/business partners.
* Excellent speaking, writing, and active listening skills.
* Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, fast paced work environment.
* Ability to work independently and use judgement when solving problems.
* Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required, higher education level preferred.
