About the Team

You will be a part of the newly launched Williams Sonoma Inc Business to Business division, a key growth initiative for the WSI portfolio of brands.

About the Role

The Director, Sales Operations will work directly with our range of cross functional partners to ensure a best in class experience throughout the entire sales process. This role will also play an active part in supporting the Account Executive team in the development of their large sale pipeline and working with the cross functional teams to remove obstacles standing in the way of business growth and unlocking sales opportunities. The position will be an advocate for WSI Business to Business whose primary objective will be to streamline and implement processes to facilitate business growth and an elevated level of service. This position reports directly to the Vice President, of Business to Business.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

* Partner with cross functional subject matter experts to evaluate existing processes, identify roadblocks to the growth and service of the B2B business, create and execute action plans to overcome these challenges.
* Partner with our LVCC and Portland service teams to drive towards an SLA of under 12 hours. Direct leadership responsibilities of the Portland Service team and close partnership with the LVCC service team.
* Collaborate with the Store Operations teams in each brand to support the retail teams in unlocking the Trade and small B2B opportunities in the field.
* Work closely with our cross functional teams (inventory, sourcing, logistics, supply chain) on large project planning and execution.
* Facilitate program updates/changes as needed with the ecommerce and other cross functional teams.
* Participate in conceptualizing system and technology enhancements to optimize the effectiveness and scalability of processes supporting the overall Business to Business team. Assist in specifying requirements and test cases, providing key insights and direction for a streamlined end to end experience.
* Responsible for the overall Sales Operations and Project Management for B2B businesses, proactively supporting the sales team to drive efficiencies, monitoring for consistent and productive use of Salesforce CRM, providing targeted/actionable reporting, and offering insights for management to leverage in strategic initiatives to grow the business.
* Deliver relevant training/onboarding support of new hires.
* Develop and distribute reports, operational policies, and procedural documents to the teams that help streamline department workflow, improve efficiencies, enhance business productivity, and grow the business.
* Proactively contribute to all operational initiatives supporting B2B to build strong cross functional partnerships and infrastructure required to meet industry standards and make WSI a leader in this market.
* Have ownership over Trade show logistics and large sale/customer facing event facilitation.
* Work closely with our finance and service teams on developing a terms/AR program -- business needs along with process, system, and client considerations.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Have a minimum of 7+ years of sales operations or project management experience, Contract Furniture/Hospitality industry preferred
* Have a proven track record of strategic operational excellence in process development
* Have prior Salesforce experience (strongly preferred)
* Are able to effectively manage concurrent and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Have advanced problem-solving skills
* Demonstrate strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Have prior experience in business to business sales and / or retail (preferred)
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external customers/clients/business partners and build strong relationships
* Are proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel user
* Have a Bachelor's degree (preferred)
