Here's what you'll do...

As a Program Manager on the Outward PM team, you will be crucial in planning and efficiently deliver a variety of challenging internal and customer engineering programs. You will need to be able to structure, maintain, and communicate work plans in a way that minimizes process overhead and maximizes flexibility, accountability, and creativity. You will continuously consult your 'lazy self' and look for opportunities to automate tasks/activities. While you manage the day-to-day activities, you are not afraid to wear many hats and seamlessly changing hats multiple times a day. This role requires a high tolerance for iteration, failure and an ability to learn and move on quickly. You will interface with leaders, stakeholders, engineers and production team members and often act as the point of contact for project information.

As a member of the PM team, your work will directly affect the future and the success of Outward. In close collaboration with creative, design, production and engineering team members and respective leaders, your job is to keep a growing organization which sits at the fiery heart of technical innovation running smoothly, elevate the impact of our applications through operational excellence.

* Identify and document project scope by working closely with account management, the customer(s), stakeholders
* Ensure that approved requirements are developed in sufficient scope and detail that will result in the delivery of a solution that meets customer needs as they perceive them
* Identify execution strategy, tactical plan and corresponding timeline in close collaboration with team and team lead
* Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria to team
* Drive implementation of requirements and SW product/feature requests and resolve any blockers timely
* Develops, maintains and manages risk plans including mitigation
* Drive project priority conflict resolution with Engineering lead and fellow project/program manager(s)
* In collaboration with engineering lead/team, select appropriate processes that are required to meet the project objectives
* Drives engineering response to product requirements for internal and external customers
* Facilitate and drive discussions relating to the development and integration of web applications with 3rd party applications
* Identify and optimize and/or automate business processes and workflows to enhance team and/or organizational efficiencies

You are a passionate, driven and a can-do project manager who has experience with best practices w.r.t web deployment. You understand how to balance between technology and business stakeholders. You have the propensity to learn and leverage the opportunities around you. You are keen on finding ways to automate.

* Proven hands-on experience in successfully managing projects from project initiation through closure
* Preferably experience working on projects related to the development of new SW applications, eCommerce projects, or projects in an operations environment
* Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
* Skilled in driving and motivating diverse cross-functional teams
* Excellent skill in capturing (technical) discussions, requirements and action items in meetings
* Able to dive deep, while not losing the big picture
* Work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
* Experience with business process optimization and automation is a definite plus
* Experience with best practices w.r.t. web deployment and release processes is a plus!
* Bachelor's Degree
