About the Team

You will be part of our Brisbane Warehouse team responsible for providing, organizing and storing product and samples in service of the brand's photoshoots taking place on-site. Our job is to ensure that we effectively manage our changing inventory, transport it to the designated locations, fulfill orders, process returns, location management and cycle counting, among other responsibilities.

About the Role

In the General Operations role in Brisbane, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of 2 Leads and 26 staff associates and will act as the primary information source for the team, maintain compliance and consistency and optimize and execute operation procedures. You will be an inventory management guru, problem solver, obsessed with customer service and a strong and inspirational leader. We are looking for someone who can overhaul existing process and optimize for future scale while developing and overseeing a fast-paced team and space.

* Lead and develop a team of 2 Leads and 26 staff associates
* Act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency for daily business requirements
* Develop, implement and execution of standard operation procedures
* Lead teams to meet and exceed metrics for efficiency and accuracy
* Proactively identify root cause analysis and lead process improvement initiatives
* Communicate in real time to a diverse group of team members and stakeholders
* Build and deliver productivity plans with use of forecasts
* Evaluate performance objectives and metrics to determine productivity requirements to achieve quality expectations
* Partner with internal photo customers to drive overall efficiencies across the operation.

Inventory Management:

* Monitor and prioritize daily workloads to ensure timely delivery of orders as required to all photo teams
* Develop metrics to track inbound and outbound volumes, fill rates and on time delivery
* Determine root cause analysis for variances and drive process improvement
* Perform perpetual cycle counting processes
* Develop and execute alternatives for inventory removal


* Manage day to day operations, including maintenance, repair, construction, renovation, security, janitorial and development projects for multiple buildings
* Manage work/cost performed by facilities vendors


* Interface with national distribution center network for receipt of inbound goods.
* Manage delivery schedule and driving team for 1 non-commercial truck supporting static daily delivery to Corporate offices.
* Manage outside resource contingency to support volumes exceed single truck capacity.


* Be responsible for department P/L management, budgeting and forecasting.
* Negotiate of contract agreements with 3rd party vendors


* Support all safety programs and OHSA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and managers.


* Develop support for all users both inside and outside the Brisbane premises network.


* Coordinate execution of company employee sale events relating to inventory elimination.
* Determine best cost-effective solutions for inventory elimination striving for cost/revenue breakeven results.
* Support and coordinate product movement projects initiated from the Corporate offices.


* You have 5+ years experience in facilities management, operations and/or photo studio management.
* You have experience with domestic inbound/outbound shipping via TL and LTL and parcel shipments.
* You possess the competencies needed for warehouse management - systems for inbound receipt, order fulfillment, returns processing, location management, inventory accuracy, cycle counting and removal of obsolete inventory.
* Fluency in warehouse safety programs and OHSA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and managers.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* You have a Bachelor's degree in a related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered)
* You have superior computer skills including business applications such as MS Windows and MS Office including Excel, Word and Access
* You have knowledge and experience with project management
* You are an experienced and inspirational leader of teams
