The Product Sample Specialist will specialize in all aspects of the inventory entering and exiting the warehouse through our proprietary warehousing systems as well as overseeing sample request made between our facilities and outside locations. This role will work directly under Business Operations to support cross-functional teams sample request, communication between teams and execute a variety of inventory management task as need. In addition, this person will work closely with the warehouse Supervisor to support daily needs as well as larger task as required. Key responsibilities will include processing new receipts, documenting & reporting on vendor compliance, processing sample returns & leading team communication regarding samples. Additional responsibilities would include flexing into a support role for larger tasks, potentially moving between facilities as needed and ensuring a clean work environment.

Essential Functions:
* Work with management to ensure all inbound (new receipt, return & exception samples) and outbound orders are being process to standard, individually as well as across the team
* Managing 24 hr turnaround times for outbound orders, along with 100% sample fulfilment rates
* Ensuring a 48 hr turnaround for inbound orders, new receipts & inbound returns
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to communicate any unforeseen delays in service for the above and independently seek resolutions while avoiding service interruptions
* Work within our sample management system and following standard process to ensure accurate tracking of our samples systematically
* Work closely with our operations team to identify ways of strengthening current process and suggest changes for future process; Operationally & Systematically
* Ensure all samples that are handled are accurately and visibly labeled.
* Uphold highest possible standards with regards to product movement and care across all facilities
* Ensure a clean and safe work environment
* Enforce company policies and procedures
* Move, stage, put away and wrap samples independently as needed with our sample storage facility

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
* Must be able to successfully work independently or part of a larger team
* Exceptional time management skills
* Ability to pivot from multiple task during the day while staying motivated and organized
* Must be flexible with working additional hours and in either building (Dumbo or Industry City) as needed
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
* Must be a team player with excellent people skills
* Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
