Core responsibilities:

* Maintain a database of merchandise item master data including creation and updates of records via SQL statements
* Partner with Buyers to define item creation requirements using Microsoft Excel to support database entry
* Function as liaison between Buyers and Merchandise Operations to support item creation across systems
* Ensure integrity of item master data by supporting data cleansing and normalization activities
* Support merchandise hierarchy maintenance activities
* Generate reporting around progress of item creation to provide visibility to cross-functional partners
* Participate in merchandising or cross functional meetings as needed
* Assist business insights and reporting team with ad hoc systems and reporting needs
* Create and maintain documentation of data and reporting process, data structure, and project updates

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

* 2+ years relevant systems or database experience
* Time management and communication skills

* Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* College degree preferred
