West Elm is seeking a CRM Email Designer/Coder to help us design and create beautiful email newsletters. You will work with a team of talented marketers, writers, designers and digital production artists to bring to life west elm products and brand in the email channel. About the Role

Email marketing campaigns are one of our companies' most effective ways to tell our brand story and promote our product to our customers. As an Email Designer & Coder you will be responsible for delivering forward-thinking designs that are well-composed, on brand and meet the marketing and business objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Design and code daily, seasonal and triggered emails
* Work with the Director of Digital Design to introduce new and innovate designs

Work closely with e-marketing and social teams to help strategize and design new campaigns

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

* Advanced HTML, Responsive and CSS hand-coding skills (proficient in table-based email templates)
* Working knowledge of photoshop (ability to slice images)
* Advanced knowledge of email best practices and rendering consistency across all desktop and mobile platforms
* Detail-oriented and having the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* 4-year bachelor's degree, concentration in Graphic Arts required
* 3-5 years of related work experience
* Retail /storytelling experience a plus
* Strong organization skills and highly detail oriented
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to communicate with team members of all levels

* Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment

TECHNICAL COMPITANCIES REQUIRED

* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
* Experience with / working knowledge of Sketch
* Experience with InVision or a like prototyping tool
* Strong understanding of HTML, ability to hand-code a plus
