West Elm is seeking an assistant manager, email marketing to support email campaign management, planning & execution. Email marketing campaigns are one of our companies' most effective ways to tell our brand story and promote our product to our customers. As an Email Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager, Email Marketing in all aspects of the email marketing program across daily, seasonal & triggered campaigns.


* Assist in managing campaign timelines to maximize available resources and achieve timely deliverables
* Ideate & write monthly email briefs in alignment with key seasonal stories & big ideas
* Assist in updating & maintaining the Email Marketing Calendar
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners on digital marketing, creative, copy, site & merch teams to ensure assets are delivered on time & align with overall brand strategies
* Become knowledgeable with the site, products, promotion strategies & processes in order to suggest optimizations and process efficiencies
* Stay up to date with industry best practices and competitor activities.
* Assist in maintaining weekly/monthly reporting recaps
* Build daily email linking in partnership with site merch team
* Communicate any ad-hoc email changes to creative team and ensure accurate deliveries
* Maintain & update weekly email creative & subject line overview



* Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
* 2-4 years of related work experience
* Ability to prioritize and operate with a sense of urgency

* Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
* Self-motived with positive energy
* Knowledge of email industry best practices
* Ability to communicate with team members of all levels
* Resourceful & able to work independently to solve problems

* Retail experience preferred


* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Adaptable, with a willingness to learn
* Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Ability to project manage and develop timelines
