About the Role

The Accounting Manager position will lead the accounting team for the Rejuvenation brand, headquartered in Portland, OR. As the leader of the accounting team, you will be responsible for direct supervision of the Accounting team and oversee all accounting projects and strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities would also include cost accounting including developing, documenting, analyzing, and maintaining product and project costing in setting and meeting business objectives. In this role, you will partner closely with the Finance Department to ensure the financial integrity of the brand, as well as acting as the liaison for WSI Accounting initiatives for the Rejuvenation brand.

* Oversee the Rejuvenation Accounting team and activities, including payables, receivables, deposits for efficient processing, optimal cash integrity, proper recording and controls as well as inventory/costing.
* Oversee brand month end close process
* Support the overall tactical goals of the Accounting department, as well as develop and implement long term strategic objectives to support the brand.
* Maintain an effective system of control to preserve brand assets, ensure financial integrity, and prevent fraud.
* Act as liaison with cross functional partners to ensure compliance to accounting standards and processes.

* Oversee the implementation of WSI Accounting cost initiatives and projects. Perform monthly reconciliations on all inventory accounts
* Monitor the physical inventory according to financial standards and determines acceptable level of process controls to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Make recommendations for changes in costing to improve inventory cost accuracy.

* Have leadership responsibility for Accounting team
* Extended hours during close weeks and physical inventory will be required.

We're excited about you because...

* You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in cost/inventory accounting
* You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate and or manufacturing accounting environment.
* You have prior experience in developing and leading a team.
* You are a self-starter, able to work independently, and have excellent analytical skills with a passion to improve processes.

Technical Competencies required:

* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Prior experience working with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics AX strongly preferred.
* Prior experience with Oracle Financials (General Ledger/Reports) strongly preferred.
