About the Team

The Junior Digital Designer reports to the Director, Creative Services, and is part of the Brand Creative Team for Rejuvenation. We are a team of collaborative designers working in digital (website, emarketing) and print (catalog, signage & packaging) to bring the Rejuvenation brand to life across all marketing channels.

About the Role

In the Junior Digital Designer role, you will design, organize, and coordinate assets for the Rejuvenation website. You will work cross-functionally with ecommerce merchants, brand marketing, and designers to update our website on a daily cadence. You will work with the lead site designer to design and develop creative marketing execution for upcoming seasons, meeting brand creative standards and deadlines. In addition to website responsibilities, you may also assist with other projects across the creative team, including email design, emarketing collateral, and internal-facing projects.

* Assist Designers to create seasonal webpages, mockups, and site banners.
* Assist Designers with maintaining web content.
* Play a key role in the design lifecycle, from brief through release/implementation.
* Work closely with production team to maintain creative changes for product pages.
* Color correct or edit photo files in Photoshop as needed.
* Update HTML & CSS as needed.
* Support Social, Content, Product, and eMarketing teams with creative requests.
* Maintain department calendar, schedules, and deadlines.
* Work with copywriters to ensure all content produced works with the overall design.
* Ensure all designs produced deliver great user experience.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* You have 1-2 years of web design experience and are proficient in HTML and CSS.
* You are experienced with responsive design and designing for mobile environments.
* You have a passion for strong design and delivering great user experience.
* You are collaborative and enjoy working across teams to share information and ideas with others.
* You have time management and excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with an ability to manage ambiguity.
* You have strong project management skills and ability to work self-directed.
* You are able to make timely decisions anticipate problems and provide creative solutions.
* You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate creative decisions.
* You have outstanding attention to detail.
* You are a problem solver who loves to use your creativity to improve processes
* Your strong online portfolio demonstrates attention to detail and a creative flair.
* You have a bachelor's degree in graphic/digital design (preferred not required) or equivalent work experience

Technical Competencies required:

* You are extremely proficient on Mac OSX with Adobe Photoshop. Additional programs in Adobe CS are a plus.
* You understand typography.
* You are proficient in MS Office
* Experience in retail/eCommerce preferred.
* InVision, Sketch, and/or Adobe XD are a plus.
* Print design experience a plus.
