The Rejuvenation design team consists of highly creative, collaborative and technical thinkers. As part of the team you'll bring your ideas to the discussion. Our role is to create both practical and innovation products with a story to tell.

About the Role

As the Furniture and Hardware Designer your efforts will be to design high quality, beautiful, and functional items across multiple categories. Each season you'll manage, design and develop cohesive collections ranging in function and aesthetic that reflect the direction of the seasonal concept, market trends and support the buying groups business needs.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

* Gather market research, and follow design trends.
* Create presentation boards that align with the seasonal concept and overall brand direction.
* Design products and collections based on merchandizing needs.
* Present product and concept ideas to design, merchandising and sourcing teams.
* Communicate ideas clearly and efficiently.
* Create technical specifications for vendors to follow for quoting and development.
* Work directly with global offices/vendors and domestic partners to produce designs.
* Manage and participate in product development meetings.
* Review samples, issue comments, and approve all product specifications and final samples
* Work closely with engineering team.
* Work with collaborators and artists to reinterpret their designs for manufacturability.
* Travel to factories and trade shows both domestically and internationally, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Have a minimum of 4 years product design experience, preferably in furniture and/or hardware product development areas.
* Have strong design and product development skills
* Are passionate about design
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Can work effectively across teams, interacting with broad range of diverse personalities, both internally and externally.
* Demonstrate in-depth problem-solving skills
* Are detail oriented and highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
* You are collaborative
* Can produce technical drawings
