About the Team

You will be part of the Marketing Content team responsible for creating written content for emails, blog posts, website pages, and social. You'll be part of a highly collaborative, growing team focused on brand storytelling, editorial production, and staying on top of industry trends.

About the Role

This role will serve as the writer and production assistant for the Brand Marketing team, writing effective messaging for multiple channels, including email, social media, retail, and e-commerce. You're passionate about interior design and retail products, with a knack for organization and streamlining processes.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

* Write and edit copy for emails, product pages, content articles, retail/store event collateral, from concept through execution.
* Collaborate with graphic design and web teams to execute daily copy production for email and web.
* Proofread outgoing digital and web collateral for grammar, spelling, and product information accuracy.
* Audit copy for brand standards across the website and manage ongoing rewrites and updates.
* Assist with Instagram and Pinterest production; approve and maintain photo fan reel.
* Write copy as needed for PR initiatives and events; help manage incoming PR requests.
* Manage orders for influencer or press projects, track progress, and communicate with our factory & partners.

We're excited about you because you have...

* Minimum of one year of writing or production experience in a creative services, marketing, or advertising environment. Prior experience creating content about interior design highly preferred.
* Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or English (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail as demonstrated in your writing with excellent grammar and editing skills.
* Excellent organization and prioritization skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Basecamp & Google Docs.
* A portfolio of writing for a variety of communication channels and audiences, both digital and print.
* Excellent creative writing ability.
* Working knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style standards.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently, under tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
* Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work successfully as part of a cross-functional team.
