PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Retail Trade Representative is responsible for exceeding the trade sales plan in the local trade area and creating a thriving customer community. Activities include networking with area trade associations, neighborhood associations, sales prospecting and providing a level of service that builds relationships. Acts as a trade liaison with all retail trade customers, as well as a regional brand advocate within the community. The position will help to support the goals and strategies set by Marketing and Retail Management to grow our business.


* Develops, manages and grows the trade customer base in a defined client segment and geographic region of the retail store.
* Exceeds sales plan for trade for the retail store.
* Tracks results using Sales Force Management.
* Achieves goals for contacts and new to file trade customer additions.
* Identifies area home, neighborhood, preservation and other associations to reach out to and build a connection with.
* Develops and executes events that drive traffic and position Rejuvenation as a resource.
* Promotes Rejuvenation products and services to prospective and existing trade clients through a combination of opportunities that include in-store service, telephone contacts, site visits, and in-store events trainings and trade shows.
* Builds and maintains extensive knowledge base of building activity within retail trade area.
* Builds and maintains long term relationships with members of the trade by providing exceptional and personalized service and systemized follow-ups of existing and potential clients.
* Identifies and promotes opportunities to connect Rejuvenation within the community.
* Works with store sales associates to provide timely trade related information, and to assist other sales associates with identifying potential trade prospects and customers.
* Builds strong connections with Call Center and WSI Contract teams, to leverage resources and build overall trade businesses.
* Supports and advocates Rejuvenation trade programs, interacting with Rejuvenation Trade and Contract colleagues
* Participates in Retail Trade related company meetings and conferences.
* Supports retail store in customer service and operations as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing duties as Key Holder.



* 2-3 years outside sales experience with a strong emphasis in customer service and delivery of set goal plan.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Strong product and procedural knowledge specific to remodeling and building trades, with emphasis on period residential and commercial materials, design, and construction.
* Prior experience in DAX, Sales Force Management, and POS systems a plus.
* Strong aptitude for customer service and sales, with a high energy "can do" approach.
* Excellent time management and organizational abilities
* Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
* Proven ability to achieve results both independently and through others.
* Excellent written and verbal communications (public speaking required) and problem solving skills.


* Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
* Ability to lift and mobilize up to 50lbs while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
* Must have open availability to meet the needs of the business
* Employment/Promotion into this role will be contingent upon successful completion of a background check
