About the Signage Team
Our team oversees all in-store signage and marketing. This ranges from hangtags on furniture pieces and Store Policy signs, to signs for sales, special promotions and store events. We ensure that all signage clearly and accurately represents our products and vision, and that we have accurately communicated the in-store placement of all marketing.

About the Role
This role specifically focuses on "Core" signage, which includes regular priced hangtags and signs for "core" and some seasonal product. You will coordinate all signage requests in Excel, create template-driven signage in InDesign, post files on ProofHQ for review, approve press proofs, and produce signage directives/communications for the stores.

* Working closely with functional partners (buyers) from the different product categories, you will ensure their needs are met for each season's signage roll out, and help train new partners on the signage production and review process.
* You will also produce signage "mock-ups" for our in-house Mock Store, and properly place signage to be photographed for our Seasonal Presentation Packet that is distributed to stores each season.
* Fabric Swatch management & tracking. You're in charge of making sure stores know when fabric swatches are arriving and what is new or discontinued. Plus maintain our own set of swatches at the office.
* You will coordinate signage shipments to new stores and assist stores with signage specific to their needs and store layout. You will also monitor the store Signage Request Website, making sure that requested signs are needed and ensuring the accuracy of all signs available to order for each season.
* Additional tasks may also be assigned such as assisting with miscellaneous design projects, and recommending process improvements.
* You will participate in regular competitor shopping and trend exploration to understand the marketplace.

* You have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered)
* You have superior computer skills and proficiency with InDesign and MS Office
* You have knowledge and ideas of what it takes to have strong marketing in stores

Technical Competencies required:

* One to two (1-2) years' experience with graphics support in a corporate environment
* Proficiency in MAC, InDesign and Microsoft Office is a must; Photoshop and Illustrator is a bonus
* Ability to work independently

* Strong ability to prioritize and work in a deadline driven environment
* Solid writing and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational skills
