JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role

We are currently seeking a talented and dynamic Graphic Designer. The candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment independently and within a team. We are seeking someone who is capable of working on several distinct projects simultaneously and understands which method(s) are suitable to achieve top-level results. He or she must also have a background or significant professional experience in the high-end fashion, retail, lifestyle, luxury, agency/design world.

* Consistently execute design concepts established by the Creative Directors (catalog/editorial, marketing/brand collateral, environmental graphics to web banners, microsites, landing pages, lookbooks, presentations, etc.)
* Maintain brand concepts, standards and identities
* Present work to Creative Director in a timely and organized manner
* Original ideas
* Editorial design and photo editing (nice to have)
* Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, major in Graphic Design
* 5+ years experience in Graphic Design
* Strong design background and eye for composition
* Conceptual thinking and problem solving
* Obsessive, compulsive attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written skills
* Time management skills
* Ability to shift gears in a fast-paced continually evolving environment
* Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, efficiently and correctly
* High proficiency in all Adobe Suite software
* Ability to create original art (brand development assets)
* Team-oriented and collaborative approach to Creative development
* Layout design proficiency
* Portfolio that demonstrates thought and leadership
* Ability to lead and inspire Designers with the Creative team
* Partner with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure creative standards are met while innovating and keeping on brand
* Aptitude for developing mock-ups and mood boards for presentation(s)
* Advanced knowledge of typography
* Never-Stop-Pushing-It attitude

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because...

* 4-year bachelor's degree, concentration in Graphic Arts.
* 5+ years retail eCommerce experience, or have worked with a similarly lifestyle-oriented brand.
* Previous management experience a plus.
* Strong written and verbal communications skills.
* Strong organization skills; detail-oriented.
* Extremely proficient in Adobe CS including Flash and Photoshop.
* Solid knowledge in HTML and MS Office.
* Able to make timely decisions anticipate problems and provide creative solutions.
* Able to handle changing priorities.
* Strong project management skills and ability to work self-directed.
