JOB DESCRIPTION

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is looking for a Manager Art Director, Digital Creative for the Pottery Barn brand. This role will work on and oversee creative development for the site and mobile creative.

* Design, concept and direct top quality visual design for potterybarn.com site pages
* Work directly with the Creative Director and copy team to ensure digital brand storytelling
* Mentor and develop Senior Designers, and Designers delivering continual coaching and feedback
* Manage design and creative deliverables to schedule, including internal milestones as well as freelance and vendor milestones
* Present creative at review meetings
* Work cross functionally to ensure integration of creative across digital touchpoints
* Continually establish and evolve digital brand standards
* Be a team player
* Be a driver of digital innovation
* Drive creative excellence on every piece of work
* Develop strategies for new mobile and website functionality, efficiency and programs
* Develop and evolve site workflows and process as business and creative needs change

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because...

* You have a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design or Web Design
* You have 7+ years of digital design experience, preferably in retail/lifestyle brands
* You have a demonstrated record of bringing strong creative and new ideas to fruition
* You have great presentation and communication skills
* You are extremely proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
* You have the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks
* You have meticulous attention to detail and work well within tight deadlines
* You have knowledge of HTML and site functionality

Technical Competencies

* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
* Sketch knowledge preferred but not required
* Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and coding
