Design Coordinator- Entry Level, Furniture & Lighting - Pottery Barn

Position Summary

* Assist Directors, Head Designers, and Designers with information.
* Follow up with agents on samples
* Track department samples and designs in PLM.
* Work directly with overseas teams to get samples to office on time
* Prepare department for Wednesday PD Meetings by organizing samples for team review, printing agendas, and sending a meeting recaps
* Be involved in product development cycle & calendar by keeping track of seasonal sample status, and helping to prepare for seasonal presentations.
* Maintain status reports on all product development projects.
* Update and maintain seasonal product information binders
* Keep sample room organized.
* Unbox and assemble new furniture and lighting samples
* Assist in setting up for seasonal presentations (hanging lights, placing furniture)
* Maintain efficient sample flow in and out of the showrooms

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Proficiency in MAC and PC.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize and schedule work in a deadline driven environment.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to lift and move furniture/boxes up to 25lbs
