JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role...

This role supports the PB furniture and lighting product development design team. The coordinator is a vital member of the team and is responsible for keeping the design team organized. The role involves keeping track of Pottery Barn furniture and lighting samples that arrive at our offices in San Francisco. Also communicating with teams overseas to ensure samples are shipped on time to arrive for our seasonal presentations. Cataloging, labeling and archiving samples is also required. The coordinator is part of a fast paced and dynamic team.

You are excited about this opportunity because you will...

* Coordinate furniture and lighting samples as directed by product development team.
* Assemble, hang and hardwire lighting samples for weekly team review.
* Track department samples.
* Send and track finish and material swatches to vendors.
* Maintain sample flow and ensure workspace is well organized.
* Maintain Sourcing Spreadsheet with ETDs for each season across furniture and lighting categories
* Prepare department for Wednesday product development meetings.
* Maintain status reports on all product development projects.
* Keep sample room organized.
* Take detailed notes during product development meetings and send meeting recaps to large group.
* Ensure samples are labeled correctly and sent to the warehouse.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's or Design degree (or experience in related field).
* Proficiency in MAC and PC.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize and schedule work in a deadline driven environment.
