About the Team

The Furniture division is responsible for the largest area in the Brand. We are the leaders that drive merchandising strategies for our product categories. Our team manages Bedroom, Dining, Home Office, Occasional and Media furniture. It is made up of talented, smart and strategic Buyers, Associate Buyers, Assistant Buyers, and Coordinators. Our job is to bring great product at a great value to our customers while we inspire and help them decorate their home. We also like to have fun and laugh daily.

About the Role

In the Associate Buyer role for Occasional and Media, you will create and develop the merchandising and business strategies for the department to drive sales and grow the area. You will be responsible for all three channels; Retail, Online and Catalog. You will lead identifying and recommending new product ideas for the department on a consistent basis. You will work with cross functional partners across Inventory, Allocation, Sourcing, Design, Creative and E-commerce to deliver key initiatives and product flow against our Brand calendar. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is smart, analytical, quick to make decisions and drive teams forward, strategic and has great taste and merchandising skills.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements & Qualifications:

* BA/BS Required.
* Previous experience in retail merchandising or degree in merchandising preferred
* Advanced Excel skills
* Advanced Retail Math skills
* Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
* Ability to work in fast-paced, often-changing, flexible environment
