About the Team

You will be part of the Pottery Barn Creative Services team responsible for producing all of the beautiful imagery for our catalog and ecommerce site. Our job is to enhance our customer experience by bringing them compelling, informative content detailing the craftsmanship and high-quality materials of our product so they can create a beautiful and comfortable life at home.

About the Role

Above all, the Merchandise Coordinator represents and supports the Pottery Barn brand wherever we go. That means be a brand advocate and build strong relationships with freelance talent and partners while exemplifying the white glove experience customers expect during photo shoots in their homes. The overall function of this position is to ensure seamless photo shoots under the supervision of the Photo Producer, and this role is key in supporting photo as one of our leading brand growth vehicles. Stellar communication with all team members (internal and freelance) is key. The Merchandise Coordinator must ensure product samples are on set ready to be photographed, and be accountable to the shifting needs of the creative production team and locations. This role will face challenges in sample availability and quality, coordinating shot list with other photo producers, and managing time both in pre-production and on set. The Merchandise Coordinator will handle and finesse all of the practical and interpersonal aspects of keeping a project running smoothly so that the director and the rest of the team can concentrate on the creative aspects.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

* Accounts for and organizes merchandise, props and grip equipment for photography.
* Loads & unloads merchandise, props, and equipment between warehouse and photo location.
* Assists with rigging, painting, assembling merchandise, prop prep, and set prep and breakdown.
* Develops familiarity with merchandise, props, grip and photo equipment and assists crew as needed.
* Protects floors and furniture of photo location with materials provided by Photo Producer.
* Repacks photo samples and props in original containers, protects for safe transport and return to proper location.
* Refers to Photos and returns location to original condition when photo wraps.
* Replaces merchandise and props to designated areas at Brisbane warehouses and IceHouse locations.
* Maintains professional demeanor with homeowners, photo team, and vendors.
* Performs additional duties and errands as assigned by the photography team.
* Drives a 16-18 foot truck (requires no special license).

* High school diploma required.
* 2-4 years related experience.
* Proven attention to detail.
* Experience driving and maneuvering 18-foot truck.
* Must be able to lift and move merchandise up to 75 pounds.
* Proactive and Highly Organized.
* Must have valid CDL.
* Willing to work flexible hours.

Technical Competencies preferred, but not required with great experience:

* Prior knowledge of Photo Production.
* Familiar with working in a warehouse environment.
* Truck driving endowments.
* Prior moving experience.

* Someone who is dexterous, or good with their hands.
* General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
