Merchandise Coordinator -- Outward scanning team

About the Team

You will be part of the Pottery Barn Creative Services team responsible for producing all of the beautiful imagery for our catalog and ecommerce site. Our job is to enhance our customer experience by bringing them compelling, informative content detailing the craftsmanship and high-quality materials of our product, so they can create a beautiful and comfortable life at home. As part of the 3-D model scanning team you will be part of creating assets that will allow our customers to interface with our brands in fun and new ways.

About the Role

Above all, the Merchandise Coordinator for scanning represents and supports the Pottery Barn brand wherever we go. That means be a brand advocate and build strong relationships with our fellow photo teams, as well as our creative partners at Outward. The overall function of this position is to support the scanning/model creation process under the supervision of the manager in charge of 3D Model creation and Lead Merchandise Coordinator. Stellar communication with all team members (internal and external) is key. The Merchandise Coordinator must ensure product samples are in place to be scanned and be accountable to the shifting needs brand creative as well as Outward's scanning team members. This role will face challenges in managing workload and scope of scanning sessions, sample availability and quality, and coordinating the staging of products for multiple brands in multiple locations. The Merchandise Coordinator will handle and finesse all of the practical and interpersonal aspects of keeping each scanning session running smoothly.

* Understand and communicate any specific sample variances to the manager, MC colleagues, scanning team etc.
* Field emails for product transfers needed for photo teams, corporate team members etc.
* Facilitate pick up and drop off of urgent sample transfers via black truck delivery and rare hand deliver pick up/drop off to the IH
* Understand multiple schedules and calendar deadlines, and prioritize work accordingly.
* Load samples in from the warehouse and prep merchandise to return warehouse
* Work with warehouse team to identify any damaged and/or missing samples leading up to the scanning session
* Communicate outstanding sample list to scanning manager and work with merchant product owners to solve problems.
* Repack photo samples in original containers (when applicable) and protect for safe transport.
* Maintain professional demeanor with scanning team, corporate team members, etc.
* Perform additional duties and errands as assigned by photography team.
* Drive 15-18 foot truck (requires no special license).

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* 2-4 years related experience
* Proven attention to detail
* Sense of urgency
* Ability to prioritize and multi-task
* Experience driving and maneuvering 18 foot truck.
* Must be able to lift and move merchandise up to 75 pounds.
