Coordinate all phases of the Internet creative production process to meet deadlines and quality standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: COLOR AND GRAPHIC DESIGN:

* Design monthly/seasonal content pages (homepages, landing pages, hero images) based on seasonal design direction. .
* Design comps for new site functionality - coming up with creative solutions that work within the brand style guide and User Interface Schematics.
* Direct and manage color corrections and image work for internet specific pick-up film.


* Coordinate merchandise for photo shoots with Photo Coordinator.
* Schedule, coordinate and art direct Internet-only photography.
* Review and approve final digital images. Direct all necessary image manipulation (ability to do image manipulation a plus).


* Develop seasonal copy schedule and product updates with merchants.
* Supervise Production Assistants with copy development, trafficking and releases.
* Work with Editor and merchants to develop Internet-specific editorial copy.
* Work with Editor and merchants to resolve copy issues


* Collect photo and type assets for web page layout and coordinate releases.
* Coordinate catalog pick-up imagery with manager and merchants.
* Coordinate comments and error reports on test sites with project manager.
* Supervise Production Assistants with seasonal updates to product image database.
* Develop and traffic the production schedules for seasonal releases and updates.
* Manage the development of image assets with outside vendors (e.g., dynamic color-swapping).
* Maintain master department calendar and schedules.
* Strong, relevant graphic design and layout experience.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Detail-oriented.


* Strong written and verbal communications skills.
* Extremely proficient and experienced in Photoshop.
* Extremely proficient and experienced in MS Office.
* Proficient in Flash.
* Familiar with Quark.
* Ideally have retail/eCommerce experience, or have worked with a similarly lifestyle-oriented "trend-setting" brand/creative 1-2 years.
* Able to make timely decisions anticipate problems and provide creative solutions.
* Able to manage ambiguity and a changing environment.
* Strong project management skills and ability to work self-directed.
* Four year graphic arts degree a plus.
