About the Team

You will be an important part the PBTeen Textile Product Development team. We're a dynamic team that works collaboratively to create well designed, great quality textile products for teen and dorm customers. Working on a seasonal basis with multiple concepts for our own brand, our collaboration partners and our licensors, our job is to develop and deliver on time and trend relevant product.

About the Role

As Textile Coordinator, you will be reporting to our Head Design Manager and responsible for all samples. You will share responsibilities for color and sample approvals for multiple products.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

* Tracks samples and Submits for the season on shared seasonal PD tracker, communicates to vendors through PLM when ETD's are late
* Responsible for Samples, including Rugs; receiving, reviewing and archiving all samples throughout life cycle; keep sample closet organized; facilitate sample requests for concept meetings
* In charge of organizing seasonal submit and art files
* Communicates daily with vendors through PLM to monitor the progress of new developments and current production
* Assists in Product Development Meetings with Merchants Sourcing and Design to review status of new developments, inform them on the status of any late deliveries or quality issues; prepares the PD agenda items and samples required for the weekly PD meetings
* Partners with Design Team to expedite approvals for on time PO placement
* Color checks assigned products and communicates approvals and comments through PLM
* Assists with licensed programs, photographing TOP samples; updating licensed approval sites
* Builds line list for the new season during rollout meetings; updates assortment sheets as the season progresses
* Mail packages out to vendors/agents
* Organized and clean, your closet is always impeccable
* You love to work collaboratively in a group and have an innate willingness to dig in and contribute with your team
* Self-starter who is driven, motivated and always has a positive attitude
* Pride yourself on the quality of work and are a stickler for the details
* Must be able to lift rugs onto shelves

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because...

* 2-3 years' experience with a retail or manufacturing company
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency, especially in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel
* PLM experience a plus (but not required)
* High attention to detail
* Ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize
