JOB DESCRIPTION

The PBTeen Assistant Visual Manager will report to the Director of Visual Merchandising and will support all visual merchandising initiatives to enhance the aesthetic, uphold the standards, and ensure the profitability of the brand. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Store Visual Merchandising

* Partner with Merchandising team to develop individual seasonal floorplans, room sketches, and windows for each store that enhance the store aesthetic.
* Manage floorset process including coordinating with merchants, store operations and inventory to secure samples, execute floorset and put-back of store after completion,
* Coordinate and oversee photography of store.
* Manage the execution of the seasonal visual book including writing copy, working with graphics to include illustrations, marketing and signage, and oversee printing and distribution of book.
* Provide detailed How-Tos to stores.
* Partner with Marketing team to create and distribute marketing and signage.
* Source and send seasonal props.
* Travel to stores to assist with seasonal floorsets and special visual projects.

Concept/Merch Meeting Setups

* Assist with developing floorplan and timeline for execution.
* Partner product development or merchant team to collect samples and execute setup.
* Source and secure props and supplies.
* Assist with styling.
* Take photos of all presentations or coordinate professional photography sessions.
* Coordinate orderly tear down of setup and preparation for next presentation.

Store Support/Communication

* Oversee weekly Teen Visual Update to stores.
* Participate in retail conference calls with stores when relevent.

* React to store needs including visual adjustments, marketing, signage needs, etc.
* Coordinate seasonal video updates to stores.
* Coordinate design studio materials.
* Assist with production of visual training materials, ie. Visual Standards Binder and training videos.


Misc

* Assist with setup of special events including GMC, Board of Director's Meetings, Annual Kick-offs and PR Events.
* Keep archive of concept/merch presentations, visual books, seasonal store photos.
* Partner with Brand Marketing on any projects that require visual direction.
* Assist with creating visual calendar and ensuring visual deadlines are met
* Assist with tracking and staying on budget.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* 2 - 4 years experience in visual merchandising with multi-store responsibility.
* Previous project management experience in a deadline-driven environment.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
* Ability to work independently.
* Proficient on a Mac.
* Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign programs
