About the Team

You will be part of the Customer Relationship Marketing team responsible for managing and optimizing the advertising investment across our print and digital channels. Optimization and execution of marketing campaigns across programs and channels that drive new customer acquisition as well as increased mindshare and wallet share with our existing customer base. You will ensure our marketing investments are delivering against core KPI's and that your marketing campaigns are aligned with the Pottery Barn brand's key initiatives and growth strategies.

About the Role

The Senior Analyst of Digital Marketing will focus on driving online sales by optimizing the marketing investment across all digital channels for the PBteen Brand. They will develop plans in support of brand annual and seasonal initiatives, as well as identify programs to acquire new and retain existing customers. They will partner with the program managers in SEM, affiliate marketing, display marketing, paid social media, and other digital channels in planning, implementing, measuring, and optimizing the brand's online spend. Key responsibilities also include testing and optimization of campaign performance, scaling successful campaigns, testing of content and marketing messaging, marketing budget management and reporting on KPI's. The Digital Marketing Sr. Analyst will ensure the KPIs are focused on hitting ROI targets tied to building brand awareness and engagement, driving qualified traffic to convert, and driving revenue. This position will interact regularly with merchants, creative, finance and cross-channel representatives. Heavy focus on managing budgets, revenue & spend forecast targets and analysis.

A successful candidate should be experienced in digital marketing, analytical, highly detail-oriented and will possess the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing multi-channel retail environment.

* Plan and develop paid search, comparison shopping, and remarketing display programs to meet revenue and ROI requirements.
* Conduct measurement and analysis on the effectiveness and efficiency of online programs.
* Ensure Search and Display Marketing initiatives are "on brand" with merchandising, promotional, and overall business strategy. Ensure optimal brand messaging is always being used.
* Identify and leverage synergies between all digital programs. Evaluate new customer acquisition metrics and subsequent value of customers acquired.
* Proactively work with team members, other marketing teams, merchandising, creative, finance, and other cross-functional groups.
* Work alongside SME's to identify new partnerships and opportunities for optimizing existing partnerships where appropriate based on brand strategies and initiatives
* Develop annual budget and 3YR business goals and investment strategies with internal team and broader eCommerce teams
* Manage budget, forecast, and accruals weekly/monthly/annually.
* Present findings, analysis and recommendations to management through Senior Executive levels.
* Analyze competitive marketplace and follow eMarketing trends.
* Monitor performance across programs and analyze results.
* Meticulously track spend, revenue, productivity measures/KPIs on a weekly basis and adjust investment as necessary.
* Work with manager and key business partners to create and implement seasonal strategies
* Rapidly incorporate changes or new information from market, competition or business conditions.
* Support the team in various brand initiatives & marketing programs-- new store openings, new mover program, and dorm
* Develop and implement customer acquisition and multi-channel marketing strategies
* Create Customer Metrics strategy and reporting
* Prepare detailed, quantitative assessments of marketing-driven sales
* Contribute to preparation of monthly presentations to brand partners.

* 3+ years of experience online marketing, retail marketing, or digital media planning
* Proven track record in managing and optimizing a budget to ROI goals
* Able to see trends and to extract actionable insights from data to drive results
* Strong organization and interpersonal skills; must have excellent communication & presentation skills
* Ability to work in fast paced environment with ability to prioritize and be flexible.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze results.
* Meticulous attention to detail required.
* Experience with a web analytics system a plus.
* Minimum Required: B.A., in Marketing, Business or related field
