JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role

* In this role you will Manage/track/request all samples and sample ETD's and maintain updated Development Reports. Ensure all samples are on track to arrive for milestone meetings and deadlines.
* Coordinate and run weekly Product Development meetings ensuring all program information is up to date prior to the meeting.

* Ensure all samples are Design (sometimes Construction, e.g. Rugs) Approved on time to ensure ship windows are not delayed.

* Mark all samples with Approval stickers accordingly; ensuring comments on the sticker are accurate and detailed. Request sign-off during PD Meetings/FLR.
* Own design comments and/or updates in PLM
* Generate notes and/or recaps within 24-48 hours following the below meetings.

* Ensure Development Reports are complete and accurate.
* Follow up with Agents/Vendors on a weekly basis to confirm ETD's are on-track within an acceptable development timeframe.
* Hard Copies -- Approved submits for design/construction (e.g.: Print CAD Approvals, fabric quality approvals, strike-offs, etc.) should be archived.
* Update ETDs on Product and Costing tools for FLR meetings.
* Coordinate new samples to prepare to show at weekly PD Meeting.
* Alert Design Manager/Designer of daily receipt of samples and set time prior to PD Meetings to review. Distro List of samples received: PD Designer Managers/Designer, Sourcing, Color, Tech Designer and to Merchants during FLR set-up (or post on the Shared drive)
* Own PD Agenda and request for additional agenda items (from Sourcing & Merch)
* Bring Development Reports.
* Bring and review CAD's and S/O's
* Weekly PD Meetings, Roll-outs, Product & Costing, Final Line Review and other milestone meetings.
* Ensure all samples are Design (sometimes Construction, e.g. Rugs) Approved on time to ensure ship windows are not delayed.

* Mark all samples with Approval stickers accordingly; ensuring comments on sticker are accurate and detailed. Request sign-off during PD Meetings/FLR.
* Own design comments and/or updates in PLM
* Generate notes and/or recaps within 24-48 hours following the below meetings.
* Maintain an organized sample workspace by keeping product stored in a manner that fosters a safe environment to conduct business.
* Assist the Merchant and Sourcing teams with their sample-related needs and photo sample check-out list
* Archive all development samples seasonally. Maintain accurate Archive lists.
* Support Designers and Technical Team by sending packages out to vendors/agents (e.g. print specs, fabric references, etc.)
* Support Print and Pattern team by receiving print CAD's for approvals.
* Support Licensor Liaison in facilitating licensed product approvals from sample through bulk production phases. Includes receiving, organizing, photographing and uploading information into the Licensor Product approval systems.
* Support Color Manager with general admin duties such as making approval cards, filing submits, entering color comments in PLM. May include color submit review and comments to vendors.
