About the Role

The Sourcing Operations team is a dynamic group within WSI US Sourcing, and the Sourcing Operations Manager will support the global expansion of all WSI brands into new and existing markets; ensuring compliance pertaining to testing, registration, and documentation of all product categories; providing KPI and empirical data-driven analyses to continually improve operational excellence.

* Serve as primary contact and SME to internal cross-functional teams and overseas teams/vendors for certain systems and markets.

* Manages key third-party service providers to ensure continual support and improvement: system enhancements, user management, and KPI report analyses to drive growing business needs.
* Perform a consultant role for the internal and external teams on the following:

* 1. Identifying opportunities for business process improvement.
* 2. Resolving various challenges from different functional teams and markets.
* 3. Designing and executing change processes that will support brand level strategies, enhance supply chain operations, and improve efficiency.
* Partner closely with internal and external teams to gain a well-rounded understanding of the WSI business to help execute long-term strategic visions, as well as providing findings based on empirical analysis to drive business decisions.
* Manages cross-functional projects with a focus on execution and data-driven analyses to present findings to senior management.


* 4+ years college education (BA/BS); MBA desired.
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations.
* 2+ years' experience in off shore sourcing, buying/merchandising in a retail or manufacturing organization desired.
* Experience working with high SKU counts, and sourcing multiple categories (home goods preferred).
* Experience with market launch/expansion in a retail industry via franchise, JV, or company-owned.
* Experience collaborating with high-level executives to influence decision-making and drive business objectives.
* Knowledge in sourcing, logistics, and regulatory compliance desired.
* Experience with MicroStrategy, PLM, and GTNexus's TradeCard and SCV platforms preferred.
* Ability to create intuitive KPI reports using SQL, SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau to drive critical business decision making.
* Self-starter and can quickly learn the complexities of our overall business.
* Demonstrates high level of organization and can quickly reprioritize based on the needs of the business.
* Travel required 1 to 2 times per year.
