Position Summary

The Omni Replenishment Planner is responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer experience by strategically managing core, replenishable inventory for multiple departments within a division. This position is responsible for meeting forecast accuracy goals while maximizing in-stocks and minimizing back orders.

Specific Responsibilities

* Planning & Forecasting

* Leverage statistical models to generate and maintain, item-level demand forecasts for core, replenishable product. Properly account for causality, seasonality, and lost sales and utilize supersessions as needed.
* Determine item level order quantities and flow strategies that balance in-stock and turn objectives and support appropriate display quantities for stores.
* Closely monitor aggregation and disaggregation of forecasts to ensure inventory is properly balanced across the DC network.
* Partner with Merchandise Planner to ensure that receipts fit within the bounds of monthly department open-to-buy and with Supply Chain Analyst to ensure timely, accurate execution of PO's.
* Perform forecast aggregation and other ad-hoc analysis to identify themes around product, pricing, and inventory and apply learnings to future seasons.
* Monitor item-level trends and make recommendations for sun setting existing items, end-of-life disposition strategies and the need for new product introductions.
* Partner closely with Sourcing and vendors to support capacity planning and VMI initiatives.
* Recommend promotional pricing that maximizes sales and margin and balances inventory as needed.
* Leadership & Collaboration

* Actively participate in creating a people-first culture that is entrepreneurial, accountable to delivering results, and celebrates success. Ensure customer is at the center of everything we do.
* Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with Merchandise Planning partners as well as Merchant, E-commerce, and Distribution counterparts.
* Support new-hire onboarding and provide training and mentorship to new Replenishment Planners.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

* Data driven individual with a curious, entrepreneurial mindset
* Minimum two years of experience in Inventory Management
* Proficiency in retail math and experience leveraging statistical models to create demand forecasts
* Proven ability to objectively interpret data and extract actionable insights that drive the business
* Excellent collaboration, communication and prioritization skills
* Training and experience in Just Enough Software and/or CPF certification a plus
* Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment with set deadlines
* Potential to thrive in a constantly changing work environment
* Bachelor's degree required in Math, Finance or Statistical field of study is ideal
* B.S in a statistical field of study is ideal
