About the Role

This person will assist the Ecommerce Merchandise Manager to execute the merchandise strategy on a daily and seasonal basis for their product division in collaboration with brand merchant, inventory, and creative teams. They own and drive the creation of the Product Information / Selling Pages. They will help deliver against sales metrics and implement strategies to maximize conversion. This person will assist in identifying opportunities, reviewing competitors, and recommending new concepts to drive sales and improve our customer's digital experience. They will deliver calendar milestones on-time and with accuracy.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

* Help manager execute seasonal and daily merchandise strategies to maximize sales and achieve or exceed financial plans. This includes all aspects of the online purchase experience and shopping funnel -- from inspirational content to informational product pages.
* Full ownership of the creation and maintenance of the Product Information Page / Selling Page:

* Photo requests for SKU and product level photography
* Development of seasonal product roadmaps which consolidate and communicate all required information about the product
* Content strategies for individual products
* Work with cross-functional partners to test all aspects of the page
* Regular maintenance as needed
* Align with inventory partners to accurately execute promotions and pricing strategies. Be aware of inventory levels, backorder issues, and strategic initiatives.

* Own populating and ranking the sale shop paths during promotional offers
* Assist Manager in the development, communication and execution of the visual merchandising strategy for your division, including briefs to the creative teams for content development, site design, page layouts, video, photography, and design tools
* Manage eCommerce photo shoot samples and logistics for your product division
* Attend seasonal photo shoots to ensure accurate execution
* Collaborate with brand merchant partners on an ongoing basis to review and understand your divisional business. Share learnings and opportunities to maximize sales in the eCommerce channel.
* Keep abreast of market trends, consumer trends, competition, customer service issues, and eCommerce technology and dynamics
* Assist in daily marketing updates of the homepage and website by providing relevant category information
* Participate in weekly, sometimes daily, site auditing to ensure correct presentation and product data integrity
* Meet digital initiative deadlines. Take on additional projects, as needed.
* Print and distribute weekly sales reports for the division and brand, in rotation with other assistants

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field
* You have proven analytical and critical thinking skills
* You have superior computer skills including business applications such as MS Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Google Sheets, and content management systems. You can learn in-house digital / content management systems quickly.
* You have a strong affinity for the product and brand
* You have an aesthetic point of view and understand visual merchandising

Technical Competencies required:

* Strong computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet applications such as excel and Google docs. Experience with or ability to quickly learn content management systems and/or database management systems.
* Basic math skills -- merchandising math skills a plus, including margin and comp sales or revenue
