JOB DESCRIPTION

A Visual Merchandising team member for Williams Sonoma brand contributes to the marketing and sales efforts of all global retail locations by designing, developing and taking charge of the visual plan of the store and its merchandise. You will be partnering with local visual managers to execute visual merchandising strategies by planning & giving feed back to ensure visual displays in the store windows and on the sales floor are reflective of the brand. You will also contribute to the future vision of the store and catalog by participating in many set ups to influence the look of the new seasons to come.

Key Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities as a visual merchandising global team member will to serve as the point person for all global markets to ensure they are aware & executing the same visual & marketing ideas as the US is launching to ensure brand integrity across the globe. This will be done by giving guidance to visual plans & giving critical feedback for improvement.

In addition the visual merchandiser is charged to come up with market specific solutions for decoration and display based on specific market sales around features and perimeter sales. Develop weekly marketing requests for promotions & seasonal marketing for new launches by partnering with local visual manager to execute. Assist in the production of the visual presentation booklet, photobooklets, perimeters, weekly memos and in-store set-ups.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Manage the development of all markets maps for company owned & franchise partners
* Create Visual Packet for Australia stores & ensure franchise partners have all documents for their set up
* Manage all weekly presentation updates and emails to the field
* Manage any prop changes or store design changes that the US brand implements for Australia & Franchise partners
* Manage the production of product lists for the perimeter bays and coordinate merchandise lists with the merchant teams
* Manage promotional & seasonal marketing signage by planning for Australia & ensuring documents are passed to franchise partners
* Attend the conceptual meetings, mid-meetings & final line review meetings as well as walk through in Pleasanton & own taking pictures for all markets & communicating out to all markets
* Provide feedback to all markets based on visual execution to ensure brand integrity
* Assist in the mock store presentation for the Store and Product Development set ups.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Previous project management experience in a deadline driven environment & strong calendar management skills.
* 5 - 8 years experience in visual merchandising with multi-store responsibility.
* Ability to work with tools (drills, hammers, etc.)
* Ability to move furniture for the set ups.
* Excellent communication skills (written/verbal).
* Ability to work independently.
* Proficiency on a Mac.
* Proficient in Photoshop and InDesign.
* Available to travel.
