About the Team

You will be part of the Technical Solutions Services team responsible for designing, building, delivering and providing 3rd Level support of our Windows environment, Active Directory, and Microsoft O365 products. Our job is to ensure that every WSI location, associate and customer has the best experience possible utilizing the windows solutions we provide

About the Role

In the Senior Systems Engineering role, you will be using your experience to design, architect, troubleshoot, and engineer new windows technologies for the Williams-Sonoma business partners. A few of these technologies include a expertise in application packing and deployment via Microsoft System Center, NCR Advance Store installation files and configurations, various scripting languages preferred.

This role reports to the Sr Manger of Infrastructure Technology Solutions Services.

* Automation of NCR suite of Advance Store components

* OS and Application Deployment to 1000's of clients via SCCM 2012 R2

* Ability to customize scripts to be unique for a defined set of requirements

* Experience with deploying a Zero touch provisioning process

* Familiar with automation and configuration for POS software, preferably NCR Advance Store and SAP software

* Develop and Implement the technical standards for Windows 7/10 clients, SCCM automation and configurations for custom application deployments

* Work closely with Support teams and help define their workflow, provide automation, engineer new solutions, and document SOPs

* You can write automation around application packaging and installation scripts in a highly customized environment

* You have deployed applications and Operating Systems to 1000's of devices.

* You have a firm grasp of scripting techniques including WMI, Batch, Powershell, VBS

* You have strong working knowledge of security best practices for Windows and MS products

* You are very knowledgeable with Configuration, administration and performance troubleshooting experience on Windows Servers.(Windows Server 2008 R2,SBS and 2012)

* You have hands-on experience on MOM, SCCM, SCOM and WSUS.

* You have knowledge of Server hardening, system monitoring, performance tuning and process mapping.
* You work well in a fast paced, collaborative environment
* You have strong capabilities in empowering and enabling your team members

* You have strong communication skills that help convey unconventional ideas that well-grounded engineers need to be sold on



* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered)

* Expert in Point of Sales Software installation and automation

* Enterprise level deployment experience for Operating Systems and application
* 10+ years of a mixture of core Server and Active Directory, System Center, including Windows Server Data Center, Virtual Engineering, Infrastructure & Configuration Management and scripting

*7+ years leading technical teams that solve complex problems and provide detailed technical and business analysis

* Superior oral and written communication skills. Ability to exhibit a commanding presence when necessary
* Superior computer skills including business applications such as MS Windows and MS Office including Excel, Access, Visio and Word. Service-Now experience a plus
* Knowledge of theory and principles of project management
