Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is looking for a Group Product Manager to shape the strategy and drive results for our Testing & Optimization program. Testing plays a key role in identifying new opportunities for our brands as well as quantifying the incrementality of new features. Our testing program covers both platform-level programs as well as brand-specific initiatives. The right candidate will have a strong technical and analytical foundation, years of relevant experience with consumer facing brands, and a flexible communication style. As a Product Management team, we focus the considerable brain power of our brand, marketing and technology partners to surface the most relevant products and content to our customers to enhance their lives at home. Duties and Responsibilities

- Work closely with our brand teams to identify opportunities for testing and site optimization.

- Partner with other product managers to develop tests that can measure the incrementality of new features and programs.

- Work with our analytics, engineering and architecture teams to develop the technology roadmap for our testing and analytics foundation.

- Translate the testing roadmap into a well-organized backlog, with clear, concise user stories that guide our development teams.

- Develop strategies to maximize test confidence and backlog throughput.

- Partner with Site Analytics team to interpret test results. Distill actionable insight from the data.

- Develop an unhealthy obsession with the metrics that serve as the vital signs for our testing program.

- Manage vendor partnerships for our testing and analytics technology.


Degree in business administration, computer science, engineering or other technical field.

8+ years of experience in testing/analytics product management or related field. Experience in an eCommerce environment preferred.

Extensive experience with A/B and MVT test design, including complex, multi-page tests.

Adept at identifying primary and secondary success metrics and designing tests that maximize confidence and reduce statistical noise.

Impeccable interpersonal communication skills with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with the Adobe Target & Analytics platforms or similar technology.

Understand the testing technology landscape, including the major platforms and providers.

Experience as a product owner in a scrum or kanban team environment. Excellent backlog management and story writing skills are necessary.
